Sandra Lanz has been in the Early Education Field for more than 18 years as a teacher, director and owner of a preschool in the San Fernando Valley. She also has extensive experience working with infants, children on the spectrum of Autism and other behavioral difficulties as a preschool teacher in an inclusion classroom.
Sandra has over 30 units in Child Development, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Masters Degree in Education and is currently completing a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership focusing her dissertation on Preschool Classroom environments.
Sandra has been married for over 10 years and adopted a Tabby Cat named Cousin Owen. When she is not in school or presenting, she is spending time with her family including her 5 nieces and nephews going to sporting games, volunteering, and going to the beach. Sandra's favorite things include: shopping, traveling and eating at her favorite local eateries.
Her and her team have presented in CAAEYC conferences for the last 6 years with topics including: Positive Discipline, Fostering Infant Language, Beyond the Reward chart and Inclusion classroom.
Claudia Maldonado has been in the Child Development Field for more than 18 years. She has obtained positions in the field as a preschool teacher, infant teacher, director, special needs advocate and an owner of preschool in the San Fernando Valley. As an Early learning advocate she is dedicated to the quality preschool and infant care for all children.
Claudia has over 30 units in Child Development and a Bachelors in Human Services.
Claudia has extensive experience working with infants 0-2 years old, children on the spectrum of Autism and other behavioral difficulties as a preschool teacher in an inclusion classroom and as a mother of a child in the spectrum of Autism.
Claudia had been married for over 10 years and has two sons. Her oldest is a senior year at UC Irvine and her youngest is homeschooled entering his sixth-grade year. When Claudia is not at school she is with her family, reading a good book or shopping. She has also presented in the CAAEYC conferences for 6 consecutive years.
